Shot my 1956 Savage 99 in .308 today. Paid for it in December but just picked it up and completed the FA10 so it is new for 2012.

Thanks. Was told that I am the 4th owner but the last 2 never fired it. Has been sitting in a safe since the 70's. Now just need to learn how to break it down for a cleaning.

Got This last month, but forgot to post it. So here it is............

What we have here is a rare first Gen Bushmaster in the even rarer stainless finish. These were made in the late 70's and are the Rifle version of the Gwinn pistols that Bushmaster produced for the air force around the same time.

That is impressive.

Glad you like it. I thought the same when I first saw one of these. The bayo lug is actually stock from factory.

I'm 34 so you might have to wait a while to get it in the will.
