Yup, V6 twin turbo, as you can see in the pic they had to off-set the front plate to leave a gaping hole for the intercooler. I've only got 22 or so miles on it yet but it can overtake quite nicely even going relatively light on the throttle. Haven't taken it wide open yet, but it will happen in due time. [wink]

Don't forget to make some time for shooting at least a few of them![wink]

Just traded for this Sig P229 in 357 Sig. It also came with the 40S&W barrel and two magazines. Not bad for my first Sig. I've lived in NH for 20+ years.... It's about time.

That tool will soon live next to the pistol it has been designed for.

The tool has been made to adjust this sight

Here she is with the holster, cleaning rod and tool which came with her.
The holster is part of an original rig, unfortunately missing the stock attachment
and straps.

Oh, and she came with company. More later.

Unfortunately not.
Original drums in good condition are running from approx. $1,000, most are selling for approx. $ 1,500 over here.
Pretty much the same range for the loaders.

I've got the above pistol on Friday. She's all matching incl. the mag and grip panels.

Oh and yes, it's a so-called Artillery Luger or "Lange Pistole 08".

Here is what came together with her:

Walther Zella-Mehlis PP in .22 lr, made in 1938

All four are from the same estate and required some haggling.

The 27 is nice. I have one...... mot as nice as that. Do you have a source for dating them? I can't seem to find any credible manufacturing dates for mine.

Thanks !
She seems to have been carefully buffed and re-blued as the WaA 76 is pretty faint;
that made her very affordable.

What I have as a source for dating them is a quote from Jan Balcar
"1941: 20 XXX - 33 XXX
1942: 33 XXX - 130 XXX
1943: 130 XXX - 256 XXX
1944: 256 XXX - 456 XXX (?)
1945: Occupation production 456 XXX - 477 XXX.
The SN range is based on observed pistols and record from Czech Proofhouse."

Unless they produced them with different contours in early 1943, I am thinking that CZ27 was more than buffed. It seems a whole lot smoother along the edges than mine. Any chance that whoever reblued it also polished the metal with a wheel, thus smoothing out all the contours? The milling marks on mine are very rough, would could explain why the previous owner of yours had it polished smooth. Perhaps your early 43 was as rough as mine at one point?

Thank you Juergen for posting this info. I have not been able to find out when my 249xxx was made until now. So mine would be late 43. Nice straw on your trigger, I have almost none left.
