Mid size m&p. My spin at being a gunsmith.

I love the M&P line. Unfortunately the full size is a bit too big for me, and the compact is too small.

I was contemplating downgrading (in my opinion) to a glock 19. That was a tough decision because im much more comfortable with the m&p and i shoot it alot better.

Anyway.

I removed about .55" off of the grip. It did not effect the 10 round capacity whatsoever.

Im not totally thrilled with the gap between the magazine and frame, but i can deal. For me, its not worth the extra hassle for a flush fit.

The Shield has a grip thats between the FS and compact but with less capacity of course. Like me, you'd probably find the grip a perfect size.
 
Figured id gather some updated pics in the same thread.

Got some more mags and cut them a little better. Also shortened the plate.
Trimmed the beavertail.
Undercut the trigger guard.
Stippled the grip.
