This was front page news in the Herald last January.
The original article had far more details, but it seems to be archived now.

The hits keep coming for the MSP.

Investigators are probing allegations a state trooper brought in files of porn, while others pulled a prank with a fake Taser at the Massachusetts State Police Academy in the latest scandal to hit the embattled police force.

A 13-page complaint, filed by a female trooper with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, alleges she was disciplined for the Taser stunt — in which an uncharged stun gun disguised as the real thing was fired at her then-boyfriend, a fellow trooper. She claims male troopers playing along were not properly disciplined for their actions.

What's corrupt about porn on a harddrive, 99% of all workplaces have it. I'm thinking this is a payday for this antisocial female Trooper.

As a newly minted fed employee, I showed up at my station. There were a bunch of crusty old guys sitting in the muster room. I saw a group of guys around a computer, curiosity got the best of me so I went for a look. Full on porn video playing. When I walked away someone made a snide comment. This is back in 2001, before filters were decent. I guess I'm a prude? Keep that stuff at home. I won't mention the 'Great Meatspin Debacle' that happened a few years later. Someone hit 'respond all' to the sector email string. That went over like a turd in the punchbowl.

Today, you can't even go to youtube or a 3rd party email server on our computers without special permission.

You can look up 'meatspin' on your own time, I'm not posting a link for various reasons.
