What are you striking the holder on to release the case? Id be afraid of deforming the neck hitting it on the vise.

A wooden bench. You don't have to hit it very hard (provided you don't seat it harder than you need to when you put it in). It looks like I'm hitting it harder than I am because the camera shakes. I trimmed 2000 cases and dented one neck.
