The libs here think he’s relevant.
From the few episodes I've watched, Rogan seems to be a libertarian with a social nanny state lean.
Wut?
Wut?
I'd have to watch the video in question. But what I'm saying is every one I've listened to, Rogan sounds libertarian. So there must be a side of him that want's to 'help' people, but using the government, since Sander's biggest deal is free health care. It's not like he'd be the only person who's moderately 'conservative/libertarian' but has that one issue that makes everything else disappear. I know tons of people who are anti-2A but right down the libertarian ticket on everything from open immigration (let supply and demand of labor work), to low or no taxation, doing away with the nanny state. Are those people not 'conservative' just because they are not avid 2A supporters?
He's had 2A guys on his show, he's willing to talk to almost anyone who can present a decent discussion. That alone makes him different than most leftist/socialists in this country.
Edit: I went looking for the statement. I found a 51 second video of him saying he'd vote for Bernie. I also found a video of him saying he's voting for Tulsi. So, yeah. I'd say it's just a statement he figured would gin up some views. They guy probably makes a half mil every time someone clicks on his videos. Good business for him.
Hes had Tulsi on the show quite a bit, so his endorsement of her early on made sense. Now that shes basically about to drop out, he's going onto the next candidate. Tulsi is kyroptonite to both mainstream dems and repblicans. Whereas at least Sanders is liked by the young (D) base and who knows what the older (D) base wants, probably just electability and not worried about actual issues.
Pretty much everyone else either has no chance, or has flip flopped all over the place. That leaves Bernie for someone with some standard of wanting a 'decent' person to vote for. Bernie's a lazy POS, but he's not an absolute dirtbag like Biden. The left calling Trump a criminal must live in houses with no mirrors.
I wouldn't call him lazy considering all the shit he's doing and how old he is.
Just because most of us disagree with him doesn't mean we need to make up lies.
I work with an SJW who digs guns. They do exist, but they're rare. This guy doesn't buy the idea that the left wants to grab his guns, or at least thinks it's not practical that they'll actually do it.
I'm not with him on that first part, but he might be right about the second.
He's got some nice stuff, actually. His father was FBI, I think, so he's getting a lot of his dad's old pieces. But yeah, he also runs a blog that reads like it might as well have been written by Elizabeth Warren, and he does volunteer for Dem campaigns.
He's a Bernie guy, too.
The majority of our leaders have worked for the government though. He’s lived off the taxpayers his entire life and he never held down a real job. He may not be lazy but he’s done nothing productive.

Honestly, only STEM degrees should be compensated for.
He has higher viewership than most CNN shows. He IS relevant in a social media way. Just because you don't know him doesn't mean millions don't.
I'm no liberal. From the few episodes I've watched, Rogan seems to be a libertarian with a social nanny state lean. I can tell you, I actually thought his was a joke thread. But I've only listened/watched a half dozen of his podcasts.

And a majority of them are useless.
I have a friend like that, just had the “they’re not coming for your guns” conversation w him the other day. He seemed to acknowledge that just because they haven’t doesn’t mean they are trying or planning to. Then we laughed about the AR he got a while back, he says he thinks they should be banned but that since they’re out there that he should also have one... and because they told him he couldn’t have one, he got one
The one thing about Bernie is he doesn't hide the ball unlike most politicians.
Eh. Country is working decently
It's not even possible to make the gaslight special they aren't coming for you anymore.
This cards have been shown.

Who cares who he likes? I mean really, do you know even a single person who changed their mind on who they would vote for based on someone else's endorsement?
Thats not something I’d credit politicians with.
Liking Bernie Sanders is like liking Ron Paul. Everyone will hate you for it.
I don't know if it is 10% of the country or 50%, but some very large % of the county's population vote based on what the guy on the pulpit on Sunday morning's tells them to do.
Lol not sure if serious, but Sanders is exponentially more in line with being a stereotypical D than RP is with being a strereotypical R.
The only thing Sanders is off on the D platform is middle america Ds still like bombing brown people to feel safe, other than that, he's right up their alley on nearly everything
else.
Also let's not go into meaningless promise weeds territory. For example you might say "well sanders yaps about free college and joe biden doesnt" but that bullshit is basically
meaningless, because even if he is elected, it's never happening. Vermin Supreme even sort of lampoons this bullshit on his own platform, with the whole "Everyone Gets a Pony" thing. He's basically mocking this default political tendency among any presidential candidate. Promising something that's basically impossible. Candidates promise all kinds of stupid shit but there's very little chance any of it is realistic. It's like when Ron Paul says he wants to end the fed. Even if he was President the federal reserve just being "switched off" isn't
happening. All of that trash is the presidential equivalent of this:

Smart people realize this, but every candidate sucks for it, because being realistic doesn't make people excited.
ETA: Or if we were going to convert this into a Trumpism, it's like when he started talking about Mexico paying for the wall. Anyone with one brain cell knew that was never happening from day 1.

Meh, I still enjoy Joe Rogan cause he seems like an all-around good guy who tribalists on the left and right hate. He's friends with Ben Shapiro and he's friends with leftist commentators pretty equally. He interviews such a fascinating broad array of people, so I'll continue to listen. He is pretty liberal, and pretty vocally 2A, but certainly not as absolutist as most of NES. This also may come as a shock to you, but not everyone is a one issue voter. Furthermore, Republicans, just as quickly as democrats, will shove the big dick of Statism right up your ass without a second thought. He also is very anti SJW. His philosophy is essentially anti foreign intervention, pro safety-net, pro gun, anti-SJW, 1A absolutist. He's a big hunter, conservationist, etc, who probably agrees with most of you that society has become too soft. His "endorsement" for Bernie was probably 50% because of his policies and 50% cause he doesn't think Bernie is an absolute scumbag of a human being. I probably agree with the ladder, I think he's probably a nice guy who is a bit of an idiot... who I wouldn't vote for in a million years.
The "Joe Who" crowd are just like the "face-what" crowd. You can close your eyes to how the world around you is changing, but that just means you'll get left behind. You don't need to embrace podcasts and social media, but plugging your ears to it doesn't make it go away. JRE has 10s of millions of followers.
The old good-of-the-nation. You're in the wrong country. Try Scandinavia. EVERYONE is partisan based on what they want personally. But the problem with the two issues you brought up aren't the problems themselves but the crappy moronic 3-brain-cell solutions they've foisted upon us. How about SOLVING a problem?? Oh yeah. Scandinavia. Nevermind.
