I hate NYC, for already stated reasons.

Me too. I worked for a company in NYC for 2 1/2 years. I'd normally work at a customer site (Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago), but once per quarter we would have company meetings at the office. I'd take the shuttle down in the morning, black car into the office in midtown, black car back to LGA in the evening, and back home. That was more time than I wanted to spend in NYC. YMMV.
