How much should it cost to mail a handgun?

FWIW, I use FedEx Second Day Air. It's still "overnight" and costs less than Priority Overnight.

There is a lot of talk on various boards about the legality of
"improperly disclosing" "firearms" w/common carriers in interstate
commerce... but interestingly enough I've never seen anyone
prosecuted for it. In scriv's case it might just be the buffoon at the fedex counter
not knowing any better.
