Hello everyone
Let me preface this by saying I know it's a long shot however it wouldn't hurt to ask. A good friend of mine just lost his grandfather who was a World War 2 vet Daniel J. Coyle - Obituary - Mansfield, MA / Dedham, MA - Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home | CurrentObituary.com We got to talking about him selling most of his firearms in the early 80s to fund his anniversary to his wife. He was saying he would love to get his 1911 back. I know it's like finding a needle in a stack of needles but I figured it might still be in the state. He sold the guns to Hillcrest Gun Shop 29 Smith street in Needham ,Ma. So by chance does anyone here have this Colt 1911 #1092412? It holds great sentimental value to his grandson would love to buy it back.
Thank you for your help.
