Help me spend some money

Give $400 - 500 in food to a food bank. Or give that much to a church or homeless shelter. Give it to the Wounded Warriors program, or the Fisher House.

Your rewards, in the end, will be great.

Nobody said a nice .17 HMR. This is a good, accurate gun. You can watch your bullet hit. If you'd rather reload, get the .17 Fireball.

Or, you could buy 5 Marlins at Dick's for $500, and let your local club start a kids' class/course/team.

Normally I would say to try and pick up a M1 Carbine to go with your Garand, but I agree some of the previous posters that you have a pretty big hole in your (nice) collection. I would pick up a S&W, a Ruger, or an older Dan Wesson .357 revolver. You will be able to find a nice used revolver that is within, or close to your budget.

You've got a great start on a collection there.

However, it clearly lacks a S&W 686+ revolver (3, 4 or 6 inch barrel) to share ammo with your Marlin lever gun.
