Healy on Reciprocity - BS Alarm

Anyone convicted of ANY drug charge cannot get an LTC in Mass. That doesn't prevent them in free states.

Anyone adjudicated delinquent for something that would be considered a felony if the person was not a juvenile will prevent a Mass LTC but not a free state LTC.

Anyone convicted of a non-felony crime involving a gun (like hunting after dark because you couldn't get the engine started and had to row back to shore) that carries a potential jail term cannot get a Mass LTC, but can get one in a free state.

There are more.

The whole thing is idiotic, because people carry a gun for one of two reasons. (1) to defend themselves, or (2) to commit crime. Anyone doing 1 is nothing to worry about, and anyone doing 2 is not going to care if it's legal or not to carry.

So is she terrified of going home to see family and friends in New Hampshire because of Constitutional Carry? I seem to recall her campaigning for her buddy without a care in the world about all those scary 'hidden' guns carried by unwashed people around her in NH.

Can't PETA drop some dirt on whatever inappropriate behavior Linksy seems to have an interest in doing with farm animals based on his weird decriminalization bill a few years ago?

"Healey has been locked in a federal lawsuit with gun rights advocates and firearms trade industry groups over her 2016 interpretation of the state’s longstanding ban on “assault weapons” which eliminated a number of guns from the market that had been seen as in compliance with the law."

"a number of guns?" What an understatement. This is how the uninformed get their skewed view of guns.

Where does one get that $100 temporary license? Inquiring minds want to know.:p

MA Firearms Records Bureau, Chelsea MA.

No longer true. Convictions for less than an ounce of the heathen devil weed are no longer a disqualifier, thanks to Comm2A.

Everytime any firearms laws are relaxed in a state anywhere in the US the response of the liberals is: "There will be blood in the streets". The data following enactment of any loosing of restrictions always, I believe, contradicts this statement.

Her current statement is nothing more than the current (and getting old) propaganda of the antigun left.

The problem in MA is that the local sheep will believe her statements unequivocally without question.

It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out in the Kommie states vs the rest of the country!

She isn't afraid at all, she just hates gun owners

FIFY

“In the aftermath of so many mass shootings, it would be tragic for this to become the next deadly loophole in our nation’s gun laws. This legislation is dangerous for the state of Massachusetts, our law enforcement officers, and our residents. We are disappointed in the House for passing this reckless legislation and we urge the Senate to respect state laws, to protect the safety of our communities, and to reject this bill.”

LMAO so now they care about state's rights?

Her mouth is moving, it means she is lying. And the sheeple in the Commiewealth of Liberchusetts are probably eating it up, hook line and sinker. It amazes me that she can't do her job, which is to uphold the laws of this country, which includes the constitution.

What exactly is your point?

If a person is of such poor character and disposition that they cannot be trusted with the ability to exercise all of their constitutional rights(firearms possession in particular) then they should not be walking the streets of this country.

If concealed carry reciprocity becomes law, police officers on the beat would have to determine—often in an instant or under duress—whether an armed individual not permitted to carry a concealed weapon under Massachusetts law, may legally carry in the state in which he purports to be licensed,” said Healey.

Just no. If someone points a gun at you, it doesn't matter if they're licensed. They're a threat. One has nothing to do with the other.

Lying, evil POS. Mini-Hillary.
Grasping for straws

Linsky is against it also. He's attempting to push himself into the national spotlight as some kind of crusader for gun safety. He's sharing stories about himself posted on Patch.

Healy is nothing more than a petty tyrant that had no logical argument against reciprocity. So she makes up bs like all antis do.

Honestly, I was on the fence on this bill, but thanks to dimples, I wholeheartedly support it!!
