Hassan to run for senate

CEASE FIRE!!!

Are we not all in this together??? In the end, moving from one state to another is a failed strategy. The ONLY solution is to get involved in politics at the LOCAL level, wherever you are, and get the right candidates nominated at the LOCAL level. Why? Because the guy who is elected Town Administrator this election cycle may well be elected Governor or State Rep 12 years from now, and US Senator or POTUS 30 years from now.

Arguing which state sucks worse will be immaterial once the next progressive socialist in the White House uses an EA to declare anyone who's ever visited a psychiatrist a PP. Obama is doing exactly that by forcing the Social Security Administration to submit the names of all SS recipients who've appointed a fiduciary to manage their financial affairs to NICS. We're talking millions of Americans having their 2A rights violated with a stroke of the executive pen.

And our friends in NH. had an opportunity to derail the Obama express but they chose to sit home rather than vote for a Republican, which is my point. A moderate R is always preferable to a far left D.

scott brown is not a moderate republican.

outside MA scott brown would be a far-left democrat.

you and your ilk are why the republicans keep putting up crap candidates because you vote for them solely because they have an R after their names, crap is still crap there were far better and more conservatives running the past 2 elections but you and your ilk can'y think outside of the republican box.

As a person who is married with three kids, and did move to NH from CT, I call not moving crap. Anyone can create a few year plan to find a new job and move, or just commute. You'll save more in income taxes than you spend on gas commuting.

ETA: My wife commutes to Northborough for work.

How well has Ayotte done to derail the obama express?

Not at all is the correct answer because her voting record is one that agrees with obama on major issues

How well did voting for Brown as Mass Sen derail Obama's agenda? Not one bit.....because Brown is a progressive

and I'd still be paying Ma. income taxes. two more years hopefully. It was nice debating w/my NH friends but time to jump on the Beemer and head to Leominster. Say hi to Shaheen for me boys, she's such a conservative gun owner. Good night Mary Ellen, night John Boy.

I saw NH towns where the local republican candidate (state rep/state senate) had more votes than "Mr. Carpetbag" Scott Brown. Why? Because those candidates were an ACTUAL republican. As bad as Senator Bradley is at times he is far more of a republican than Brown will ever be.

I love how up here we get disappointed that we couldn't get enough votes to override a veto of CC, but in MA even getting a CC bill through a committee would be the equivalent of finding a herd of Unicorns.

But yeah, NH is just northern MA [thinking]

And who gives a shit about federal politics? The federal government is broke. It's not going to magically get out of that hole without collapsing. Let it burn, your vote is note going to alter this conclusion. If you think it is you're really bad at math or amazingly ignorant of the current economic situation.

if you plan on sticking around in leominster i've got a condo i can sell you. maybe you can buy it and put scotty boy up there rent-free while he readies his next carpetbagger campaign in another state?

Even if Rs voted for Brown he still would not have won. Nobody trusted Brown (after what he did in MA, which was pretty much nothing) and the weeble wobble independents in NH certainly weren't going to vote for him regardless.

The point was we had a chance to derail the Obama agenda in the last election and we fell short. Every R we would have elected could have been used to derail the Obama agenda. Yes, Brown would have followed the GOP line to stop Obama's efforts to destroy America. You guys hold out for a candidate that fits your narrow needs and we'll keep on losing. So now you guys will help defeat Ayotte and give another seat to a D, who will follow the party's anti-gun policies. How does that help our cause? http://www.nbcnews.com/id/39975505/...nate-seats-falls-short-majority/#.VhPP8kYzFiM

******* Not the point. We needed a specific number of R's in the Senate to be able to stop the Obama "I Hate America" campaign and we fell short.

shaheen/hassan/etc. and i are coming for your guns first.

Couple of points

You live in Mass....

The Mass approach of voting for the less massive crap sandwich has not worked for you in Mass

It has not worked for folks LIKE you in NY, Maryland, California, Oregon, Ill and a raft of other states

So why would you think trying to get NH voters to adopt that same failed approach would result in anything BUT failure?

You are necessarily insane if you think doing the same thing over and over will actually yeild a different result.................

he's only here to educate us, dude. we clearly don't get it and he's going to explain it to us. because he knows everything and wants to help NH not become MA north under the leadership of die-hard republicans, defenders of the constitution. real stand-up guys such as mitt romney, john mccain, and scott brown.

lol your argument is fundamentally flawed because you believe an R next to someone's name means they will "derail the Obama agenda".

Why don't you understand that isn't reality? How come you can't comprehend that candidates with R's next to their name occasionally support liberal, "Obama agenda" ideals like amnesty and gun control? Why don't you understand that establishment politicians are in politics for personal gains, not to defend the Constitution or represent their constituents? You're either trolling or incredibly naive and brainwashed by the RNC.

beep boop, he's a fully programmed (R)obot.

^This^

In 2014, Brown would call in to Howie Carr every week and jive to his face. Then the phone lines would light up. Next segment, next topic, next hour - didn't matter. They were still clogging the Chump Line two days later. 2010 campaign volunteers who'd stood holding signs in a cold rain for hours, fit to be tied, demanding to be allowed to swear the Never Again pledge on the air...

And the NH GOP thought he was the pick of the litter.

Anyone in MA calling Ayotte a "RINO" better consider that it was her office at her direction (as NH AG) that issued the statement to all NH CoPs that the rights of NH citizens to carry openly or concealed trump the "annoyance and alarm" of a person scared 'cause they saw it. That's what NH calls a RINO. How're "RINOs" working for you in MA?

Y'all in NH can continue to call her a RINO if you want. There's more issues than the 2nd A. But on the 2nd, Ayotte has been pretty good.

Didn't she also slap down the police over being filmed in public, IIRC it was before the Glik case

And as a senator she voted to throw your ass in gitmo if you were accused of being associated with "terrorists" with no access to an attorney let alone charges presented against you. Brown cast the same vote.

Shaheen actually vote for liberty to pass the amendment to the 2013 NDAA that stripped out the indefinite detention language. McCain and a few other warmongers conveniently got that amendment removed from the final bill during the committee of conference.

As far as I am concerned, throwing away your 5th and 6th amendment rights is far more an egregious act than fighting against constitutional carry as AG.
