Like many of you, I have a few guns that I wish I never sold or traded away, looking for the next big thing. I think I've grown up a bit now and I have to say my 686 is probably one I'll never part with - thought about it briefly, but it was like that one hot girl, my wife, who I couldn't part with, even when she was a pain in the ass. Good thing she doesn't read this.

What about you guys? Anyone have that one (or several) guns that they'd never imagine parting with?

I have only sold one gun Sig p250. It was my first gum ever wish I didn't sell it. Now im only in the bussiness of buying guns I dont think I will sell any gun ever again.

My Marlin 336C in 30-30(pre remlin). 'Twas my first(yes really), the rifle I learned to shoot with, and the rifle I learned to shoot well with later in life. Has taken a bunch of deer, a couple of 'yotes, is all dinged up in the stock from climbing over deadfalls and stonewalls, but she will always have a home in my safe.

One is probably my S&W 28-2 that my uncle sold to me. It was his first gun he bought way back when, and the first gun a lot of my other uncles shot since they were younger than him. They all wanted it but he sold it to me (for almost nothing) because he knew I would shoot it a lot while all his brothers would just put it in the safe since none of them shoot anymore. So I just couldn't sell that one because of the family history.

Then probably the Uzi I built up from a receiver in-the-white. All the work I did to get everything to fit and work, and doing the final finish on the metal, it's mine.

My two-toned P220. I love everything about it. It's too big for me to conceal, but it's one of the most accurate pistols I've ever used and it just feels so good in the hand. (The Hogue grips were an excellent addition!)

i have two:

my first gun, my beretta 92FS. i'll give that to a son if i have kids one day.

my "dad's" rifle which the serial is his initials and birthday.

I bought a sig p226 as my fist gun. It is very important to me. I will sell it before I give up a s&w 3913 that my uncle gave me. The smith is truly my most important gun.

The WWII surplus 1911 that my father converted into a race gun and my 1911 wide-body that I used in competitions and can carry. Both in .45 ACP (of course).

I have two. A JC Higgins 31/Stevens 87A 22LR, beat to shit, crappy plastic stock, unreliable. My first gun, my dad got it for my birthday after I moved out. He had to disguise it as a golf club when he wrapped it, because he and Mom were traveling up to my place and he didn't want to hear "Why'd you get him a gun" all the way up.

Second would be the first new gun I bought, an HK P7M8. I believe I had it on layaway for close to a year.

My grandfather had an old Colt Detective .38 that he purchased when working as a Detective for the Boston Police. He died when I was 3 and my grandmother just gave it to the BPD when they were collecting his equipment. If that gun could talk, the stories it could tell. If you google the Boston Strangler, one of the famous pictures is of my grandfather escorting DeSalvo out of the Lynn Police Station.

I never really got to know him, being that young, but the stories I've heard...he was one of the good ones; old school, nose breaker when necessary, all around badass, good cop. Its a damn shame my grandmother and I have such bad blood towards each other.

All my guns are awesome, I won't get rid of any of them.

I won't say never, but the one I am least likely to sell is my Walther P99. It was the first gun I ever purchased. I thought about selling it once and even went as far as listing it for sale, but I just couldn't do it.

Did that with my 686. I felt guilt. I felt shame. Then I put her back on my hip.

The only gun that I own that I would never ever sell is my preban Hungarian SA-85m underfolder. Every other gun I own has it's price.

After seeing my father needing to sell off some of his guns and not having the funds to buy them myself I will never sell a single gun I own. And I already have orders from my father to never sell any of his guns after he passes..

Browning T-bolt, my first gun. Also my Python that my father gave me for my college graduation. Of the guns I bought it would be hard to part with the M1A1 supermatch and maybe my SW 625.
