Anyone have any experience with Gourmet Reserves food? Taste, quality, etc. This was new to TheEpicenter.com's website, looked like it might be worth looking into further for me. I am new to the game, but they are offering a variety of complete food systems from 30 days to a year plus.
If you look on the website, they have attached PDF files for each menu. Dollar for dollar, they looked to break down to a decent set-up for decent money. Any feedback is appreciated.

My experience has been that Alpine Aire and Mountain house tend to run neck and neck for quality. Mountain House tends to win more awards for taste however.

Doing a comparison of the GOURMET SUPREME SYSTEMS 1 year 1 person pack at $4,608 to the Nitro-Pak Platinum reserve 4 people for 3 months (Same as 1 person 1 yr) at $3,375 I'd say they're comparable. Alpine aire has fewer dinner entrees but they have more "filller items" like vegetables, breakfast, snacks, desert etc..) The Nitro-pak platinum reserve however is $1,200 cheaper and includes shipping. I'd also take a look at the packages offered by emergency essentials (beprepared.com) They tend to have the best prices on Mountain house and don't bone you on shipping
