Basing his argument on Heller and McDonald, Evan Nappen won a case in the Appellate Division of the NJ Superior Court based on safe storage laws. The lower court ruling was reversed and remanded.
If this goes federal, it could spread from the 3rd District, to the 2nd, to the 1st, affecting storage laws in NYC and MA. For the moment, it remains an unpublished state case.
