A question for the NES brain trust...
A friend of mine lost his dad recently. His dad had a few long guns. I informed my buddy about the 180 days thing. He has no desire to get licensed but wants to keep the pieces as family heirlooms.
What is necessary to make them legally non-functional so he can hold onto them?
There are a couple shotty's, a couple .22 rifles, and a Garand.[sad2]
Thanks in advance for any information.
