Coyote control?

Its coyote season in MA right now.... if its residential .22 LRN Quiet is available at TS USA. They can't bother your mother if they're dead.
as tempting as it is, I'm not risking my LTC. All it takes is one moonbat neighbor to see or hear it. If it were my own property in more rural setting or free state that would be another story.

Have had coyotes often in yard, seeing signs of them again. My dog is a 60lb English setter. I’m wondering if putting bell on his collar would deter coyotes due to noise, or is it ringing the dinner bell?

Apparently Natick has had 2 dogs killed this week. They're bringing in a "specialist" for a discussion and the Selectmen will decide if something should be done.

Just shoot the damn things! Ugh. I think they're living in the Town Forest and I doubt they allow hunting there... being Natick and all.

I called this at least a few months ago in another thread. Yep, they will just HIRE SOMEONE ELSE to come in and shoot them, instead of letting the people do it themselves.

What a bunch of BS - "a specialist"

Don't get me wrong, coyote hunting isn't easy and they are smart animals so it's not super simple and wrapped up in an hour. Why can't the town take credit for taking care of a nuisance predator rather than be afraid of what some moonbats may say on social media? If they care so much for a living creatures they can use their own pets as bait so the 'yotes can be relocated. Otherwise the worse case is they close the town forest for a new days/nights and let a dozen bow hunters in to call them in and elimate the problem.

Nope, you have to hire someone, lest you be thought bad of by all the right people if you let some of "those people" enjoy themselves while hunting.

B&K should hold a coyote hunting contest like the shop down the Cape did. Most pounds of coyote delivered to the weigh-in station wins.

I've got 500 rounds of it for just that reason. My girlfriend's parents have a snackdog and have seen yotes walk right through their yard in Hopkinton in broad daylight. I thought it prudent to buy a few hundred rounds after that.

Yeah... same deal. My girlfriends mother has a small corgi and an older golden lab. Her home abuts a large conservation land... tons of coyotes. You could hear them chatter when her dogs went out at night. Really scares her to the point where she goes out with the dogs with a huge floodlight. I got 3 in about 30 seconds one night last year with an Benelli R1 in 300wm and thermal scope setup I borrowed from a buddy. They haven't been near her yard since. She has a lot of land so shooting there is technically legal. If it was more congested I would definitely use 22 Quiet.

Crossbow while sitting in a recliner (with a drink) facing a cracked window at the steak hanging from a branch. Pre-dig some holes for the morning clean-up.
