China now world's second-largest arms producer after U.S.

China is the world's second-largest arms producer, after the U.S., a Swedish research center said Monday. Russia slipped based on more information on Chinese companies being made available.

Norinco had $17.2b in arms sales in 2017.
Imagine how much higher that number would be if they were still allowed to sell their guns on the US market.

Yep, and by UN Arms Agreement they need not mark firearms with SN or country of origin. Only way they could get Russia and China to agree to sign.
