Boston FID/LTC info needed please

Hi everyone,
I am new to forum and would like some advice please. I live in Boston and my FID card has expired (years ago).

have completed the basic firearms safety course and now looking to apply for my LTC in Boston. I am seeking any advice the group can offer.

Should I apply for another FID card first? Is there benefit to this? Or should I just apply for LTC and take range test on moon island?

Just apply for the LTC. Don't waste your time with another FID.

The process and for an FID or LTC is now the same in MA.

Apply for the LTC and save yourself money and time.
