Mysteriously missing from the article is the effect of this gun ban on crime.
I can see why they left this important part of the discussion out. Homicide rates are about the same as prior to the ban. Sexual assaults and robberies SKYROCKETED immediately after the ban and have since come back down to the the same levels as before the ban.
SO, take away people's god-given rights to defend themselves for what?! An increase in crime that levels off after 20 years. Nice job, Australia! What an awful POS that article is. Nothing more than propaganda.
