I am looking for some additional gunsmithing tools that I can use to work on my 1911's. Does anyone know of local (MA or CT) shops that carry a good selection of such tools?

These tools are rather specialized. I have purchased tools for gunsmithing locally with little success (gun shops and industrial supply houses) and find that Brownells is the best source. I get almost all of my tools from them. Shipped by Priority Mail my orders arrive in Medford in 2 days.
Gunsmithing (pro or amateur) is no place for cheap tools. Brownells sells high quality equipment, but you will pay more. It is worth it in the long run. Trust me; I learned the hard way.
Brownells is the place to go,,, let me just say that cheap tools are
expensive in 2 ways: they don't last as long, and they may also ruin
what your working on,,,, ouch....
