Dear Friends of the Second Amendment,
Here in Westford, MA, the local select-board has usurped the Zoning and Planning Board and helped draft a bylaw proposal to virtually eliminate any firearms business from coming to town.
They limited each to a single road, needing to beg for a special permit, stay 1,000 feet from schools and 500 feet from other Firearms businesses, churches, daycares, and "places where children under the age of 18 may generally congregate."
They also re-classified 2 pre-existing non-profit sportsmens clubs as firearms businesses. We have no idea what the effect of that will be in the future, but it can't be good.
If you are a Westford resident, get to TOWN MEETING no later than 6:30 PM and VOTE NO ON 9!!
If you are not a resident, come by and stand with our sign holders.
