I am told that you can purchase and own an AK-47 in CT as long as it doesn't have a folding or collapsable stock, flash hider, threaded barrel or bayonet lug. is this true?
it cannot be chambered in 7.62 x 39. The .223, .308, and 5.45 x 39 are legal but for some reason they cant have the real chamber. Because they are on the ban list preban guns cannot be transferred.

That means that if it fires the 7.62 x39 round it is not legal. Any other cartridge is legal. The ability to fire the 7.62 x39 makes the gun illegal in the state of ct
