6.5 Creedmoor precision rifle choices?

I'll admit, I've not looked into that part. Assuming that's true, I'm sure you're right it's best to not risk getting jammed up.
i have 2 more types of muffs coming in smaller sizes, so, may be that will work out. will see, wil probably try getting to the harvard with her some time this weekend.

She says it's too noisey even with just the thread protector? I'll assume your range is covered? Can you move a little forward so the muzzle is closer to being out from under cover?
Time for custom molded plugs and some nice ear muffs.
6.5 should not be to load with just a plain crown barrel, AR is probably worse.
308/30-06 are not very “load” vs some others. Although I have a 110gn 30-06 load that is 3000+Fps its got a “sting” to it.
Maybe its a frequency thing?

try to find muffs with a 30+ NRR rating

I did some homework and purchased myself a Bergara B14 chambered in 6.5 creedmoor and I feel like I made an excellent choice. They make some of the best barrels in the world (something to look after when choosing a rifle for distance shooting).
