MY FFL DEALER COULDN'T ANSWER THIS ONE....REGISTERED IN MA AS .50 CAL. SOLD UPPER, HAVE SPARE .223 UPPER. SWAP OUT IS EASY. THE BIG QUESTION IS IF I SELL IT AS A .223 I HAVE A FEELING THE FRB IS GOING TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER...THANKS

Just sell and filed a FA-10 or submit eFA-10. Not sure how FRB can prevent your sale. There is no firearm record to de-register.

Changing calibers in not an issue in MA that I know of, just file the paper work with the new information.
