I think it should be illegal to plan on giving my money to pay for healthcare of people who shouldn't even be here. I think it should be illegal to petition government for infringement of other people's rights. I think it should be illegal to make mooching from .gov a lifelong career. I have more, but you get the point.

Not just the NRA, any gun rights org.

More than a quarter of Democrats say it should be against the law to join pro-gun rights organizations such as the National Rifle Association (NRA)
The poll also found that 32 percent of Democrats favor declaring the NRA a terrorist organization in their home communities, while 14 percent of Republicans and 20 percent of unaffiliated voters agree.
There is no way this ends peacefully. That is too large a number of people who want agents of the state to force me at gunpoint (ironic) into a prison cell because I am a member of a private organization.

There will be bloodshed. Only a matter of time. Within my lifetime.

It seems every time I turn on my PC, I see more crazy left stuff. I think soloman02 is right. At some point it will lead to bloodshed. I am surprised it has not started already out in Cali, with all the ANTIFA goons marching around. They remind me of the NAZI brown shirts.

War with Bernie Bros, fat Noho chicks, white tough talking suburban liberals, college aged avowed marxist college kids? That's like declaring war on the Brady Bunch. I say bring on the purge let's just do it now. See how many people are left the next morning hiding out in their safe spaces when the purge is over the next morning.

I'm kind of sick of all this shit.

Here I am, pretty much minding my own business.
I work, raise my kids, contribute to my community in my chosen ways.

First I'm labeled a "deplorable", then a "racist", an "islamaphobe" and a hater of anyone who isn't hetero-sexual, and now I'm a terrorist?

This is not how I view myself and the entire "othering" process is generally pissing me off. History tells us what it leads to, and it doesn't go anywhere good.

not surprising, wont be long until they want to make Voting Republican illegal. The end game is a socialist / communist echo chamber paradise. Everyone will think the same, look the same and do everything for the greater good. Hell wont be long until they advocate not even naming us anymore. #65760 please step forward and collect your rations. #67600 you have been charged with speaking out against the state, the punishment is 5 years hard labor.

Of course, it would not be “us” against “them” as they want government to do the dirty work.

1. Support the 2nd Amendment? Sure, all good Americans do. Just declare it to not apply to semi-automatic weapons, declare a mandatory buyback, seize and confiscate guns from those who will not comply with the law. It’s very convenient as those who do not surrender guns are those who most need to have their assets seized as “reparations” for gun violence and jailed. Jailed for a short time as they know they can’t afford to jail us, so then paroled to a work program to serve as an underclass.

2. Support the 1st Amendment? Sure, all good Americans do. Just declare NRA and all pro-gun organizations as terrorist organizations. That frees US government to investigate, detain and jail US Citizens on US soil without most due process rights. Asset forfeiture, of course. They can’t afford to jail us, so declare certain “Rust Belt” regions of the US as extra-territorial detention zones where Guantanamo Bay-like due process is “legal.”

3. Support the 4th Amendment. Sure, all good Americans do. And so on...

4. Then time for a New Constitution to tidy up those niggling rights, due process and protections that tie up the courts.

Are there enough US Citizens that would be willing to become Jack-Booted-Thugs to enable such a plan? No. But there are enough to *lead* a force of immigrants given a choice of citizenship and government-supplied benefits (housing, food, health, education, jobs for family) or low priority for “Free Border” entry into the USA (as in, never). This paramilitary force will be kept in “sectors” around the US with elite loyalist leaders and troops maintaining control for the ruling class of elites.

Sounds like fiction? Or like a Republic sliding into a Democracy that becomes a Socialist State? History has its lessons, and many would like to see the mighty fall.

Support fair housing laws? Sure, just declare that each community has the right to regulate where Catholics, Jews, Muslims and Pastafarians can live and that this is not inconsistent with fair housing because you say so.

I suspect you are wrong. Many find it easy to justify anything because "it's the law".

I would venture a guess that a higher percentage of republicans think it should be illegal to be a democrat
Allow me to translate your statement above.....

It IS illegal to pass laws that use the fed gov to punish political opponents

Its also illegal/unconstitutional to pass laws that have no basis in Article 1 Section 8 or anywhere else in the constitution..........

That in and of itself criminalizes pretty much the entire democrat party platform

When such a large pool of people support violating the constitutionally protected rights of their fellow citizens who have never dont anything to harm them there are few ways that the conflict the left is initiating against law abiding fellow citizens is likely to turn out......

I am having a hard time seeing how the supreme court fails to take a case challenging such actions like the one taken by city/state governments to infringe on 1a and 2a

see what rhetoric does. you tell a lie enough and everyone starts to believe it. The NRA has not killed a soul nor inflicted any violence against anyone and they want to label us a terrorist group. Antifa constantly attacks people at otherwise peaceful rallies and nobody says shit.

You’re a strange one.

How does the above square away with the below?

So what......if you dont like the law then work to change it
