I use the same one from Butler Creek - also mixed results. You need to keep an eye on it: it will occasionally lightly dent the brass on the side of the cartridge, and it won't always load one every single time you turn the knob. I won't take it with me unless I'm shooting the 10/22 a lot, or I'm bringing the ol' hicaps out to the range.
It's easier using the loader with any clear 10/22 mag, just because you can see when cartridges are feeding correctly. I do like pouring a whole box into the hopper instead of having to handle each one. I'd buy it again, unless someone comes up with a better one.
