You all in MA so screwed: Does not look good for gun owners in MA.

There's some good aspects about Lieawatha and Healey moving up to Federal level jobs - it moves them out of this state, and it subjects them to a national level audience - who on the average are much less receptive to their shennanigans than the idiot voters in MA.

Unfortunately it also looks like communism masquerading as leftism is surging in this country lately. 8 years of Obama seems to have really built a constituency for some hard core socialism/communism. I see it popping up in places I never really expected to see it - Florida (for example) was a place that I thought was overall pretty conservative. I guess not.

Since I really don't think that the left is going to dial back their insanity *willingly* - I'm afraid the only way it gets better is if it gets beaten back into the hole it crawled out of. How that manifests - I don't really have a good handle on yet.

I do think that as the left gets more and more insane - it drives at least some elements of the right even further to the right. In that aspect - I think that the left is semi-correct when they run around yelling about how there's a surge in racism and Nazism!! (TM)

I think what happens is that when there is some chance of compromising and therefore being left alone a little bit longer to go about their lives - an awful lot of people on the right choose to compromise and just go along , hoping against hope that things don't get too bad.

But when the leftists escape their shackles and go full commie nutso, many people on the right realize that there's really no reason to compromise any more - so they actually go even further right than they were before. Add in all the immigrants and assorted flavors of diversity all yelling and screaming for the heads of white men on pikes - and you've got a ready made recipe for an awful lot of men (in particular) - to just say "f*** this - this crap is obviously NOT going to stop - so it's time to start chucking people out of helicopters - I'm sick of this shit"

It really seems like we're accelerating towards this. I wouldn't be surprised if we hit that point in the next 10 years where people start taking helicopter rides. Either that or bread lines. I honestly can't see clearly which way it's going to go.

Wrt Florida. My late MIL lived in Ft. Lauderdale for ~19 yrs and we visited each year. The (elderly) people in her area were all originally from NY (city area) or New England (mostly Boston area) and this was in the 1970s-80s. Their arrogance and attitudes were things that I found very distasteful. If a good percentage of folks in FL are like them, it does not surprise me to see FL going the way it has been lately.

Commies need cartoon characters because their brains can't handle complexity. This is why they created "angry white man with a gun". In reality this man may not be white, is not angry, and commies may actually have more guns than us! Stop playing their games and just hammer them with facts.

Their enemies are all people who do not swallow their BS and have objections. They are a cult. They eliminate objections by eliminating people. In order to eliminate people they need to create tools for masses. Those tools are #METOO, Black Lives Matter, Global Warming, Racial & Social Inequity. Commies teach masses how to use these tools, and commies get an agreement from the general public that such "punishments without a legal process" are beneficial to the entire human race. How could we possibly live without them before?

We can't have discussions with them.
