I would not be surprised if .gov authorities have already threatened them with (whatever) over it already, they just couched the decision as being "their own" to avoid

IMO liveleak has the right to do whatever they want, although if this is because of gov crap, it's just cowardice. (but only they know the truth on that end) And yes the MSM has the right do whatever they want, surely, because 1A. But having a TV based lunatic lionization circle jerk over a spree killer on the 24 hour news cycle... accomplishes what journalistic objective? It's always the same f***ing like, 10 sound bites of meaningless horseshit over and over again on most MSM sources.

Most of us complaining about MSM are not suggesting they should be banned, but rather, that they're mostly a bunch of shit eating a**h***s.... that have the gall to complain about someone like Trump "disrespecting" or "attacking" the media or whatever, as though they had some kind assumed, or default position of moral high ground or they were some kind of bastion of integrity, etc. Maybe if they didn't froth up the "news" with intellectual dishonesty they'd have a leg to stand on.

Also food for thought, although the market is changing, I guarantee you that if I went out and asked 100 people if they had seen this guys video or not only a handful would
say yes, or that they had at least seen part of it. On the other hand most of that 100 has probably seen this shitheads pic on TV or similar. The reach of MSM is still a lot
farther than the internet as a whole.

Hilarious how the whole OK symbol started out as a massive troll operation, which gained traction but instead of people ending up with egg on their faces, they just ignored that the whole thing was made up. Now we're at the point where OK might as well be a white supremacist thing because its been repeated so often and seems to be accepted so broadly.

Kind of wish the chans would take it further and branch off into thumbs up, peace sign, heart sign, clapping, waving, etc, just to see how far they can take it. Check out these Klan members...

UK: Man arrested for “malicious” social media post about New Zealand shootings
A man has been arrested in the UK on suspicion of making a malicious social media post about the attacks that killed 49 people at mosques in New Zealand.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the post was “making reference and support for the terrible events”.

The arrested man is a 24-year old from Oldham.

GMP said where “people cross the line, we will take robust action, which may include arrest and prosecution”.

For the most part, the Brazilian prisoners were carving up dead bodies or those that were unconscious as a result of bad guy on bad guy fighting- aka occupational hazard. Pretty gruesome, but nowhere close to what the long list of 3rd world animals will do to living innocents. South African atrocities, not exclusively but largely against whites, are much worse and frighteningly common.

There's some epic hypocrisy going on at LiveLeak. Plenty of video footage available for the Las Vegas massacre. I guess the demographics of that crowd were not worthy of such sensitivity. Seems that your average everyday black or brown person isn't that interesting either: 54 people murdered in Chitcago as of March 10. By tonight, I'm sure they have surpassed 60. South Africa has approx 50 homicides a day and as mentioned above many of these are insanely gruesome. ~40% of the homicide victims are white, despite the fact that whites only comprise 9% of the population. Can you say 'genocide'? Apparently the MSM can't. Even without the white stats, there are ~30 black people a day being killed in South Africa which by itself is a horrifying stat. It's just not interesting and doesn't feed the progressive narratives as does a rare mass shooting by some crazy white dude toting the must be banned 'assault rifle'.

No kidding. On the visual cringe worthy scale this video is not nearly as shocking as some others LiveLeak has hosted. Pretty bizzare but not very dramatic seeing piles of people in the corners of a room before they are even shot at. Strangely enough when my ducks are threatened by a predator they do exactly the same thing...

I think a major difference is that this footage was produced by the killer, with the expressed intent of it being posted online to further his purpose. Most of the stuff on liveleak seems to be actually leaked footage, in some sense of the word. Hosting his footage is akin to actively participating in furthering his agenda.

New Zealand terror attack: Police raids and gun control talks follow mosque shootings | DW | 17.03.2019

Some points:
  • On Monday afternoon A New Zealand judged charged an 18-year-old with distributing the livestream video of the shooting, though investigators said he was not believed to have been directly involved in the attacks.
    • Greek officials say they are investigating Tarrant's visits to the country in 2016.
    • Authorities in Bulgaria, Turkey, Croatia, Israel and Hungary already announced they are looking into similar visits, on some of which he reportedly studied historic battles between Christians and the Ottoman Empire.
    • Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was scheduled to meet with her Cabinet Monday to discuss action to be taken as a result of the terror attack.
    • Over the weekend, she had put pressure on social media companies to explain how the shooter was able to livestream the attack for 17 minutes, and how the footage was able to circulate for hours afterward on multiple platforms.
    • She also had announced New Zealand would tighten its gun laws.
    • The organizers of the country's largest gun show, the Kumeu Militaria Show near Auckland, announced Monday they have canceled the March 23 event out of respect to the Christchurch victims and due to "elevated security risks.
      • Many of the victims were foreign nationals, and some of them will be transported abroad for burial.
        • Also on Monday David Tipple, a gun store owner who sold Tarrant some of the weapons used in the assault — though not the semi-automatic weapon — expressed his deepest sympathy to the victims.
        • Tipple described the sales to Tarrant as "ordinary" and said they had followed a police-verified online mail order process: "We detected nothing extraordinary about this licence holder," the gunstore owner added.
