OK my first question has been answered in the gunlaws section.
Even though my double shotty is 120 years old I can't hang it on the wall without one of those stupid @&?! locks. Removing the firing pins is not enough.

Here's the next question: does anyone have a suggestion as to how I could lock it legally without it being absurdly noticable? Any other way to permamently disable it without destroying it?
Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like an enterprising machinist should be able to come up with a lock that could be inserted into the chamber. It would expand against the wall to lock into position.

You could take a picture of the trigger, then tape it over the trigger lock you have to put on!

In all seriousness MA SUCKS!

Actually that would probably work, you take a piece of plexiglass cut to fit inside of the trigger guard and machine out a slot the size of the trigger, and then pin it in or something.
