UK going after crossbows next

when you make fun of them, they just look at you and say in a serious tone “you’re right, we need to act immediately”

Its like picking the special needs people. To the point where you just feel awful about even thinking it.

Why haven't they banned forks and hammers yet?

Glass beer mugs are banned in some towns - dangerous weapons swung in a bar fight. So now you get a frosted plastic mug in some pubs.

Curry will be banned next...can be hurled in eyes.

Well, sure they *could* be used as weapons.

HAVE any crossbows been used to commit crimes?

What can't be used as a weapon? Even pillows are used to smother people....
IIRC.... YES.... Right here in Massachusetts. Years and years ago, before they even called it Road Rage, a guy killed another driver with a crossbow on the side of the road during a traffic dispute.

I see they're quickly approaching the point where contraband will become a notional concept, because enforcement will require policing ideas and blueprints.

England is nuts. They have banned all teh things and now look at the place. London recently surpassed Chicongo in terms of total violent crime rates. Go figure...
Come on now, some people are allergic to nuts. You could choke on them and if throw hard enough, might cause a slight red mark. Ban nuts, it's for the chicken. Or the Queen, or something.
