Uberti 1873 lever action in .45 Colt (LC), Thoughts?

Buddy of mine has a repo 73 in 357 mag but shoots 38 spl out of it as not to stress the action. Could a 73 in 45 Colt feed 45 Schofield?

The Smith Shop sold a conversion for 45 ACP.
I would go that way if you wanted a shorter case. Wayyy cheaper and easier to find. You won’t cry when they get lost in the grass.
