Took the kids out shooting today.

Took my 10 year old twins out back to shoot today.

As of today they hadn't shot anything but pellet and .22's rifles.

Started out with .22 rifles then the .22 pistol. Then worked our way to 9mm then
to .38. To be honest the 9 was hard for them due to limp wristing.

Then the real smiles came when they shot 30-06! I think they are truly hooked now.

Spent a good 3 hours out back and burnt about 300 rounds total.

One of the best shooting days ever for me seeing the smiles and satisfaction when they hit there targets.

i love shooting with my 12yr old son it makes for a fun day to remember. Tomorrow after we go coyote hunting we have range trip planed he has been begging to shot my nagant watching enemy at the gates the other night and I want to let him scratch his itch. His favorite guns to shoot are my 1911s and his winchester 94

If you want to see a real smile on their faces have them shoot the barrett 50.!talk about hooked, once you shoot the 50 there's no turning back!

Good for you and your kids. Its so good to see some of the next generation starting off on the right foot. There are so many uneducated ignorant people out there.
