MILFORD, Mass. -- A woman and two teenagers were in court Wednesday to face charges in connection with a Bellingham home invasion.
NewsCenter 5's Jack Harper reported that a Bellingham man was beaten by the armed intruders and pushed down the stairs.
Bellingham police were at the scene about five minutes after the victim, Paul O'Connor, 64, called 911.
"Basically, they put a gun to the gentleman's head and demanded money and they wanted his guns. He got hit a few times, and then got pushed down some stairs and caused a significant ankle injury," said Bellingham police Sgt. Richard Perry.
Police arrested Miguel Rivera and Richard Dunn, both 17, and Tymisha Daviega, 26 in connection with the home invasion . All three are from Taunton. Police said Daviega had a dating relationship with the victim, so he let her in to his home. Police said Rivera and Dunn pushed their way into the man's home behind Daviega.
Police said the trio took about six guns and thousands in cash.
"They fled at a high rate of speed in a residential area, and there was a small pursuit where they stopped and (police officers) saw some guns in the car. They quickly made three arrests," Perry said.
All three were ordered held on $100,000 cash bail by the Milford courthouse. O'Connor is recovering with relatives.
