This made me feel bad at the range..

my concern is genuine. If she is older, frail, struggles with shooting and is in a position to pull her firearm to defend herself, others, or property - is she a deterrent or an attractor? and will she injure herself, those around her or the bad guy?

Perhaps she suffered the stroke after starting her career as a security guard? Sometimes people find it difficult to change careers, especially if they don't want to admit to themselves that they are no longer physically capable of handling the job.

Good for you for taking the time to help her out. Most people wouldn't have bothered.

Just what I was thinking, maybe she's going back to work after having a stroke. Good for her for trying instead of going on disability or welfare. And if she doesn't qualify she doesn't, at least she made the effort.

Who knows what the back story is, but I like a person who tries. A lot of half blind stroke victims would just give up. I admire anyone who stands up and does their best.
