yup

Nope.

You post an article about penetration through walls, when you should be thinking about penetration through people...you know, like the guy you're trying to stop.

Unless you're expecting every possible encounter to happen 1" from your muzzle, I don't understand why you would use a cartridge that doesn't effectively stop the threat.

COVID-19 Concerns Create Increased Demand for Ammo

What?!? No way!

Kinda figured that would happen. Real question is if frenzy buying will continue.

Dong strikes again. Or maybe Dong dinged again?

We were all figuring that. Seems like everyone's goal is to stockpile before the election.

Industry's got no clue as to when this will end. The solution to return to market normalcy is for people to stop buying. That's going to happen either by massively increased pricing, which isn't happening on the industry's end, only the retailers (here's looking at you, CTD), rationing, shutdown of ammo sellers either because of massive demand (SGammo halted incoming orders), voluntary retailer shutdown (gun shops closing their doors to prevent spread of the virus to customers/employees), or government intervention.

Or saturation. Once everyone has had the opportunity to blow their budget on ammo they will stop buying. Or economic factors, ie people are getting hurt by the financial implications of the virus..

Myself this spring I would've picked up a 50 cal rifle, instead its just a Glock 20 and some lowers. Normally I would have dropped 2k on ammo right now, instead it was maybe $800 on the basics. I'm not exactly hit hard but the stock market and economic situation cut into my normal spring play money big time. Other people are totally out of work, they aren't going to be making big ammo orders, and more will be impacted in weeks to come.

Could be worse. You could be not in 2020 and instead back in the black plague holed up in some half ass fortress with dead infected bodies being trebucheted on your head. Instead you're being told to sit home and binge watch some netflix while competent scientists and doctors shield you from the psychological damage of watching at least tens of thousands of people slowly drown/suffocate before your eyes while you scramble to find a cure.

But yeah, please whine about being asked to inconvenience yourself for a short time for once in a 100 year period. You know, becuase your first world mild sadness problems are important for us all to deal with.

How about I whine about a corrupt communist Chinese government that could have contained the disease in China, but lied and allowed it to spread to Iran and then to Italy and some other migrant-laden, open-boarder countries where it festered and spread thanks to European socialized medicine. It ran through England, a country which houses the dregs of the Muslim third world and which has a terrible socialist fiasco of a medical system.
And now it's here, where thanks to the best medical system in the world and proper hygiene practiced by American citizens the disease will pass by most people with no more power than a common cold.
Yet our politicians will still lock us down and turn the country to financial ruin just so we can show the rest of the world that we're acting like them. Well, we're not them. And despite the 20 million or so illegal aliens wandering unchecked through the country carrying with them God knows what disease, our private medical system will develope a treatment plan to handle the Chinese flu.
But to bankrupt the country with draconian curfews while it happens is a ridiculous over reaction, and a reaction completely unnecessary in a civilized first world country.

Sometimes I can't tell if posts like these are serious, parody, or the result of some kind of AI machine learning that's been fed the entire output of Infowars.

I keep it simple. In conversations I am blaming it on the Democrats (make up whatever story that fits).

Difference here is there isn't the fear of impending legislation. So I think it will subside as all the "2 boxes are enough" people get what they want. The rest of us gun nuts already have a good supply.
