The entire premise of this thread.
The poster would have us believe, without providing any evidence, links to news articles, etc, in their post, that the left is just now getting upset and calling her a liar about her experiences.... from a speech that was given 10 years ago and given by someone who is now deceased? The only provided source is the speech itself, which is posted on a YouTube channel that is from some unknown source/person... I'm calling bullshit.
Call me cynical, but this feels like an out-yourself trap. Throw a little blood in the water and see what stirs up.

I'm seeing a limited case in my industry right now. I'm a veteran of the Dot Com Bust. Back then, there was a push by creatures called Application Service Providers to get companies to Outsource Everything (i.e. their entire IT infrastructure) to them. Customers' employees would have basically a dumb terminal on their desks - everything would live in the ASP's datacenter and they'd simply remote in.
Sounds good, until the storm comes and a tree falls and you're without 'net for a week or more. Or your ASP goes tits-skyward: there were stories of people coming into work Monday morning and... no desktop. Then someone goes to the ASP's office to find the furniture's gone.
The big push now is Cloud Everything. Now, I doubt we'll see Microsoft, Amazon, or Alphabet (Google) go bankrupt... but we WILL - and have: Parler and AWS - see them decide "No Soup For You!" Or mayhaps that encryption your stuff has in their datacenter isn't so solid.
Okay, just bits and bytes... but businesses rely on those, and we're not talking about >70 years ago. The Bust was circa 2000.
One quick addition. When you use the "the cloud" there are a thousand more people with authorized access, forget breaking encryption, only the providers policy stops them, and they make mistakes too. Not long ago a major RMS (remote management system) provider got compromised because of an employee. Actual impact was fortunately low but it exposed everyone using their cloud based system.

Does it matter? People here believe that it never happened or that it couldn't happen again. The Jews said "never again" and Oct 7 happened. That revealed how close "never again" is with worldwide anti semitic "protests" calling for the extermination of the Jews with govts looking the other way. Take that woman's advice, have plenty of ammo. We're going to need it in our lifetime. Wait until all these trojan horses our govt is importing get their globalist marching orders.
