I just checked both of my M&P45's, a full size and compact, Everything works as it should. I will keep an eye on things just to be sure.

Checking the function won't tell you if there's a problem until theres a problem.. pop the striker out and check the safety leg to see if it's almost all the way peened over.

...For this scenario to happen the striker would have to "jump" the sear as well.
