Greg, every time you post I have to put a piece of poly over my keypad to catch the drool! Jack.

All I can say is thats nice.
So I got a chance to run a few mags through one of Gregs Art Works.
If you get a chance DONT unless you plan to get one. After shooting the “step right up” 1911 I shot mine a few days later. I was looking at scrap metal prices a few minutes later! Thats what my basic SW 1911 feels like now!
    As always great job

Beautiful as always. Can you tell us a little bit about this one? I'd be interested in a summary of the work that was done to it.

Also, is the base gun one of the new manufactured Gold Cup pistols? If so, how was it as a gun to work on?

And thank you again for letting us see it.

Some day I'm gonna sell some stuff to fund a Derr overhaul on one of my beat-up 1911's. ;)

    A Derr-verhaul.
