SERVICE RIFLE CLINICS
TO BE HELD TWO SATURDAYS
15 APRIL AND 6 MAY 2006
THE SHOOTING SPORTS PROGRAM COMMITTEE OF GUN OWNERS OF NEW HAMPSHIRE IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE ITS’ FIRST EVER SERIES OF TRAVELING CLINICS.
THE FIRST CLINIC WILL BE HELD ON 15 APRIL AT PELHAM FISH AND GAME CLUB, PELHAM, NH AND THE SECOND CLINIC WILL BE HELD ON 6 MAY AT SUNSET MOUNTAIN FISH AND GAME IN CANTERBURY, NH. THE CLINICS AND RECORD FIRINGS ARE OPEN TO ALL PERSONS FOURTEEN YEARS OF AGE AND OVER.
ATTENDANCE AT EITHER OF THESE ONE DAY CLINICS WILL MEET ONE OF THE REQUIREMENTS LEADING TO THE DIRECT PURCHASE OF AN M1 RIFLE (GARAND) FROM THE CIVILIAN MARKSMANSHIP PROGRAM.
ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE DIRECTED TO REPORT NO LATER THAN 0800 HOURS. THE CLASSROOM PORTION OF THE CLINIC WILL COMMENCE PROMPTLY AT 0830 HOURS. STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE INSTRUCTION COVERING ALL ASPECTS OF U.S. SERVICE RIFLES AND NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION HIGH POWER COMPETITIVE SHOOTING.
THE NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR EACH CLINIC IS AS FOLLOWS:
- 15 APRIL CLINIC $20.00
- 6 MAY CLINIC $25.00.
THESE FEES COVER TARGET AND AMMUNITION COSTS.
STUDENTS ATTENDING EACH CLINIC NEED TO BRING THE FOLLOWING:
- EYE AND EAR PROTECTION
- LUNCH AND DRINKS
-SUITABLE GROUND CLOTH OR RUG TO LIE ON
- A PAIR OF GLOVES MADE OF ANY MATERIAL
- CLOTHING FOR WARM OR COLD WEATHER
- RAIN SUIT OR PONCHO.
THE 15 APRIL PELHAM CLINIC IS FOR M1’S ONLY AND THE CLUB WILL PROVIDE 20 RIFLES.
THE 6 MAY CANTERBURY CLINIC IS FOR M1, M14, AND M16 TYPE RIFLES WITH 4 M1, 5 M14, AND 1 M16 TYPE RIFLES PROVIDED FOR STUDENT USE.
