New rifle help.

This is why I kinda posted, this is my first AR and I’m just trying to make it as functional as possible, so any tips is appreciated!
Glad you are open to suggestions. And welcome!

There is so much info out there it can be confusing.

But props to you for getting an aimpoint vs some POS clone off Amazon

Buy ammo and practice.

FYI. One suggestion is that I like quick adjust slings that I can detach quick…

Yeah once it’s flipped up it doesn’t hit, I made sure it doesn’t hit,” I adjusted the optic to be as close as possible to the rear without moving the MBUS sight, while it was up.
Aim point directions IIRC say mount to the front of your receiver rail with out the mount hanging over , I never really played with mounting my AimPoint further forward than that? Been a long time , sold the rifle and aim point some time ago

eye relief is unlimited on a red dot. I'd mount it as far forward on the receiver as possible so that it obstructs less of your peripheral view.

Here she is, I think it’s complete now 😅
I just went all out on it haha
I’ll upgrade the trigger eventually for a lighter pull but this is for now
Now it’s time to blow some money on ammo and practice practice practice
