First post here. I am a transplanted Connecticitian, currently serving in the world's finest navy. Active duty CPO, joined in 1996. PLank owner Riverine Squadron 2. One of about 250 sailors to graduate the USMC School of Infantry and recive the 0311/0331 MOS.

Translation, Bradley Stinger Fighting Vehicle, a Bradley with a two man Stinger team in the back rather than infantry. Most of the time as a Stinger Team Leader (I preferred being dismount).

CPO in the USCG (active duty) born in mass, lived in ma and Ri growing up. finally recieved orders back up here after 12 years in the south (miami,new orleans,virginia beach) holy crap the gun laws suck up here. glad to be here though, great forum.

The 157th is a Good unit! I still have a few friends working there. I used to work with Inst/Ap shop all the time back in the day, a few of the guys in my shop got finished there active duty tours and then crossed over to the Guard and still work there. General Clements is a Good friend of mine. He's retired now. Thanks for the welcome!
