S&W Fast Service and a Bonus

Although I was disappointed to have to send a brand new S&W M&P45 (I never even fired it) back to the factory for service, I am pleasantly surprised to have it back already. I had to send it back because the slide was jamming when trying to remove it from the frame (field stripping). Sent out Thursday last week, and I just got it back today. S&W noted that they replaced the barrel stop.

Now for the bonus! When the gun came back, it came complete with a 10 round magazine. Sweet deal.

Their service is the best. I once sent back a 637 that had an internal mechanical problem. Not only did they fix that free of charge, and I wasn't the original owner, but they replaced the entire frame, which was pitted badly because I carried it in a leather IWB while mountainbiking and my sweat attacked the finish, and I didn't even ask for that. Came back with the same SN, looking brand new.
