rubberize your plastic grips

Has anyone tried to use Plsti-grip(rubberize stuff for grips on tools) To rubberize thier plastic grips? or even under coating?

No, but I've used spray on truck bed liner. It works well for this application.

I haven't but........ I have used it on tool handles and it gets gooey and sloppy with certain solvents and oils. That could be ugly if it doesn't react well with hoppes #9 or gun oil etc. I'd test it out. In general that stuff doesn't adhere real well anyways.
