Royal Navy bans sailors from having porn on ships

Royal Navy sailors will no longer be able to watch pornography, even downloaded from the internet, or have explicit images by their beds. The regulations have apparently been in place since before 2013 but are now being fully applied.

They were reportedly brought in after female naval servicemen said that pornography on naval vessels left them feeling intimidated.

I can get telling them that they can't have porno posters plastered all over the walls, just as an attempt to look professional, but don't know why keeping porn on their private computers or mags in their belongings is a big deal.
