I agree, who ever was in charge of the training and the range should be transferred to a weather station in Greenland.Ya, I want to say that I can’t blame them for this, whoever the instructor was is to blame, but, at the same time they are all to blame because any one of them should have seen this cluster and called a cease fire immediately.
They’re gonna circle back to it.I just have one question. Are they running this down to the ground?
Exactly. Anybody that’s up there enough will inevitably hear rounds buzzing past your head. Possible there was no catwalk at this house? Lot of the old tire houses didn’t have them, but even then instructors would be up on top carefully walking.Yeah. I heard they were 1-89 Cav, so they’re maneuver elements and should know better. Everyone present including those on the catwalk are to blame. I can cut brand new privates some slack for all the errors except for flagging their teammates. Even brand new Soldiers out of IET should know to not do that.
NG had more responsibilities in GWOT than the active component? Talking about maneuver elements? Yeah, no. I respect the capability of a number of Guard maneuver units, but that statement is just patently false. Some Guard units were given responsibilities comparable to their active counterparts. I’ll give you that....
This looks like active duty too and most of you talk shit about us guardsmen. A decade ago when there were actual deployments and we were allowed to go kill shit, there was a reason why the NG had more responsibilities in country, more enemy kills and less losses.
Those guys are NOT Climbing to Glory.
They were very lucky nobody was shot.
Ok cool. Give me whatever the phuck you want. If having your own battlespace is extremely common among guards units than I might give a ratass what you think. So sick and tired of you haters.NG had more responsibilities in GWOT than the active component? Talking about maneuver elements? Yeah, no. Wow dude, you have serious rage problems and insecurities. What part of my comment was in any way “hating”? By the way, I’m no longer active and am in a reserve component now. I guess I’m a self hater?Ok cool. Give me whatever the phuck you want. If having your own battlespace is extremely common among guards units than I might give a ratass what you think. Haven’t seen you post for a while, was quickly reminded what an immature a**h*** you appear to be. There’s a ton of .mil experience here, from every service and rank imaginable and spread out over decades and different conflicts, 98% of it humble and professional, so how did this thread immediately become about you and your perceived slights and or disgust to and by other service members?Ok cool. Give me whatever the phuck you want. If having your own battlespace is extremely common among guards units than I might give a ratass what you think. So sick and tired of you haters.
I played a ton of paintball growing up, so my experience is limited to that. Don't muzzle sweep your buddy, ever. I know combat makes us break rules some times, but really, don't TRAIN to muzzle sweep. The other thing missing here is communication.
Wow. Seriously? So lets see... we got rage, insecurity, immaturity, a**h*** and told to seek help. You two must be a couple of filthy liberals with all that name calling and patronizing. I sincerely hope that isnt how you guys would help another vet who actually has issues.
You guys made this about me when you chose to not myofb. That was a slight and i was defending myself after being completely dismissed. Im sorry another vet doesnt think a manuever guard unit cant do more than an active counterpart. Cams, why dont you go give him the same advice about the plethora of military experiences, how theyre percieved by individuals and how they differentiate instead of attacking me next time. I perceived that as well.
Well because you’re the only one having a meltdown in a thread that started off having a bunch of comedic value. I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say we didn’t mind our own business? It’s a public forum.Wow. Seriously? So lets see... we got rage, insecurity, immaturity, a**h*** and told to seek help. This is exactly what it looks like when me and the boys go to the range. I have no problems where their technique.
It happens in combat, sometimes, sure. But, it should never happen in training like this. They’re just ingraining really bad behaviors. In units who have a say in who stays and who goes, the actions in that video would get you fired and kicked out of the unit.brb while i watch band of brothers and yell at everyone for flagging each other!
Gfy edgelord. Maybe ill blow my brains out tonight because apparently Im an angry vet and need help. Is that what you want to hear? Not so funny now right, clowns.Thank you for your cervix, is this what you wanted to hear ?
Oh ffs. No, from what i remember you were on my side and agreed with whatever it was you pm'd me about. But whatever, ill be labeled the new forum troll because i dont live on here and post regularly. I guess it just so happens that when i post its something about the guard.Well because you’re the only one having a meltdown in a thread that started off having a bunch of comedic value. I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say we didn’t mind our own business? It’s a public forum.
Maybe I missed the post where somebody shit on you but it seemed pretty unnecessary to me, and yes I’d talk the same way to any of my own Ranger brothers if they were acting the fool in public.
I remember about 2 yrs ago you showed up and started having similar meltdowns and making similar accusations, and if I’m not mistaken we PM’d a couple times and I did offer any help you may need even if it was to just sit down for a coffee and do some venting. That offer stands for any fellow veterans that are in need. Check my sigline and take a look a the links I have posted, may be helpful, as well as taking a look at the HomeBase Program In Charlestown, it’s an excellent program. I can be an a**h*** too, in fact that’s one of the gentler words I’ve ever been called, but it doesn’t mean I won’t go to extremes at the same time to help somebody.
Are you joking about that? That should not ever be joked about. I said you had rage issues and insecurities. We all have flaws. It had nothing to do with PTSD/TBI implications.Gfy edgelord. Maybe ill blow my brains out tonight because apparently Im an angry vet and need help. Is that what you want to hear? Not so funny now right, clowns.
