Not bad. A few guys at the club tried it as well. The 92 FS is obviously built for reliability, not accuracy. At 50 feet all in the black on a NRA 50 foot timed fire target, two handed hold, no rest, for 10 shoots, but it still has the habit of shooting a flier every so often. Think it is due to the lock up being slightly sloppy.
Yes, you remove the right grip, attach the mount and red dot and off you go. I also, while I had the grips off , replaced the hammer spring with a lighter, 16lb, Wolff spring. It lightened up the trigger pull a bunch. About a 1 minute job, well worth the effort. Check out http://www.beretta92fs.com/
