I had one in my back yard on a Sunday morning some 30 years ago. Awesome looking creature. Ran for a camera but it took off before I could get a shot of it.

I'd go for a rifle over a camera if I saw one of those things.

Just get bear spray...In the stunningly unlikely event of a bear charging you, (for real not a mock charge), you will likely miss and even if you hit - will likely still get your ass kicked and put your family in danger. Buy some Bear Spray and have a nice life....

I always question if I have balls to stand my ground on a bluff charge.

I love mountain lions, beautiful animinal, and a perfect predator.
Eat, sleep, kill and makes little mountain lions.

A dope slap upside the head that we are not at the top of the food chain.

I can't help but wonder how long before some coyote hunter calls in a big cat.
It could happen, some folks have been ambushed by bobcats, its just a matter of time.
