Probation for IL cop who stole turned in gun.

Schaumburg, IL has had some real winners on their force. A couple of other officers are up on charges for keeping confiscated drugs and drug money. That department must be bringing in manpower from Chicago.

"A former Schaumburg police officer was sentenced in Cook County court today to 18 months probation after he admitted he kept a handgun that two village residents had turned into the police department for safe disposal."
