Pistol stolen from Riley's yesterday, 5/15

A Universal Background Check system would have been able to stop that.....

(Cause it stops Criminals from getting guns ... don't yah know [rolleyes])

Oof, .357 Sig. Even if they find ammunition for it, it'll be well out of their price range.

We HAVE to close the "stolen gun" loophole. Too many crims are just stealing firearms, and federal law doesn't say you have to have a background check for theft! Its outrageous!

What you should expect is a Boston Globe expose in the Sunday Edition showing how lax security is in gun shops and how easy it is to just walk right out the door with a gun.

"Did you know that in New Hampshire you can just walk into a gun store and hold them?!?" Oh, the horror!

That sucks - according to the article they were caught once and were successful on the second reach over the counter.
Hard to defend against that unless you install a locked back to the cases.

the shop owners i know probably would draw down on someone who was seriously reaching over the counter and not just being a dipshit.

That sucks for Riley's, they don't need this type of bad press now! It would be really fitting if one of their many children, gets ahold of it. [smile]

Charles.

Watch them try and load it with .357 mag[laugh]

I was at Riley's yesterday, probably around 2:00. Bought my 2 boxes of 9mm and fondled a Ruger SR-22 rifle, MA compliant!

Everything seemed completely normal.

Theres a lesson here ladies and germs, ok well actually several:
1. Criminals dont give a fying weasels scrotum about background checks. Really, they dont.
2. Criminals dont give a flys hairy ass about legally giving any craps out sone legal system or other.
3. Most Rileys employees are armed, yet no one was killed.

This happened in a store FULL of guns AND ammunition!!!!! Yet, no one was injured. Yet, no one was killed. No firearms were discharged, or even pointed in their direciion. Not ONE of thise evil guns took it upon themselves to relieve the situation. Id think it would be in the firearms best interest to protect even the smallest amongst them.

Alas, they did not. They sat idle. Wouldnt you think if the firearms were in fact capable of inflicting harm or death, this would be the ideal arena?
